Flying Mole DPA M1600 Class D Amplifier - 6 channel x 100

SOLD

This is a modular amplifier chassis (DPA-M1600) with 4 modules (FLYING MOLE PM-162D) each 2x100 watt.

Two of the modules work properly but 2 have one channel that sounds distorted. The distortion shows on the level meter. I have not done any investigation in regards to repair. There are a couple of people who repair, one in the UK and one in the US. There is also a thread somewhere that suggests the distortion is simply caused by a bad cap. I've already replaced this amp in my system.

The only other issue is that the main power light, on the chassis does not work. The associated power button and other functions work.

I have been using it consistently for 3 years. It is a ridiculously expensive setup and rarely seen used.

It is hooked up currently for audition.

Are the modules self-sufficient - ie: do they plug into the AC main power directly, or have to go through that big rackmount server-type hot-swap enclosure? (Any pictures of the back/connector-side of the modules?)

Cheers,
Tal
