i got a fluke 8022 multimeter and i need some test leads for it.
it does not accept 4mm banana plugs, the socket hole is around 3.2mm or 1/8inch...
can anyone point me to a source (ebay etc)...

that's weird> maybe the plugs you tried weren't real banana plugs. The '4mm plugs' have the new extra safety shrouds. Depending on your 'DIYness' , maybe you can carefully cut the shrouds off?i got a fluke 8022 multimeter and i need some test leads for it.

please show an image of what your trying to fit?

nothing to do with shrouds, the current leads have them.....

If it is a 1/8" socket then this is obsolete. Known as a wander plug - common on old radios for aerial & such.
Fluke 8022a/b models have 4mm banana sockets so yours must be an earlier model.
However, look up - 3mm or 3.5mm Gold Bullet Connectors - on Ebay. You could probably Araldite them into a normal banana plug body.

I've also read Maplin 4mm banana plugs will squeeze into 3.2mm hole.
Less solid than some makes of plug.
Be sure to try soldered type - the screw type has exposed screw.

British Telecom 8022A/AH Fluke? Need Leads
I have the same issue. I have my dads old British Telecom Multimeter which appears to be a re-branded Fluke. It has the model number 8022A/AH along with a serial number in the battery bay.
Its in working order but the leads are in desperate need of repair or replacement. I'd like to hang onto it for sentimental reasons.
Question is what type of sockets are these? Pretty sure the standard 4mm won't fit. The leads outside dimension is about 7mm and the inside 5.3mm
See attached images. Any help greatly appeciated!

Unless I am mistaken these are relatively standard measurements for American made multimeters, just look for leads on eBay compatible with Fluke multimeters.
I am not 100% sure but this might be a starting point:
Fluke TL71 10A Hard Point Test Leads Set for Multimeter Meter Probes USA Seller | eBay
I think you will also find the measurements are specified in inches and don't translate well to metric. I would repost them.

To start with a small cost I have ordered a set of these for 99p.
1 Pair Multi Meter Test Lead & Alligator Crocodile Clip For Fluke Vichy meter FO | eBay
If the size is the same or different I'll post back.
Hopefully its the same and I can order the nice Fluke cable you posted!

Remeasuring dimensions in Inches, 0.27" Outside, 0.2" Inside.
All my modern shrouded DMM test leads are 0.29 -0.3" OD, Fluke TL75 and imported copies.
edit> looks like Mooly in the UK didn't find any for his rig http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/equi...20v-200v-instead-9v-99v-999v.html#post5227094
