I realized that something was not right with SY's solution.
Anyway, I managed to solve the task. I just have to thank for the help from both the SY and DF96.

Very minor correction: if it adds/subtracts it is a term, not a factor.
(I once had to write an expression parser (for real, not an exercise) and these distinctions became very important then. In normal life they are much less important, but as algebra seems to confuse most people it may help if we give things consistent names.)
