In the places where they are only acting as dividers, I don't believe they will make a difference.Would it be correct to think adding fillets between the driver throats would help with vertical dispersion?
For purposes of learning, can anyone please help identify errors with my attempt at inputting a single vented M80 in Hornresp?
M80 is approx 20"H x 27"W x 14"D. If it matters additional 1/2" flat lip on either side and 1" flat lip on top/bottom. Throat is 7" diameter.
Can the the 6dB dip mentioned by @weltersys be manipulated if Vrc is deliberately small and Fb is high?
Want to understand if these parameters are close or way off.

Yes, by choosing a highly underdamped bass reflex alignment, it's peak around Fb can "fill in" the roll-off below the horn's Fc.Can the the 6dB dip mentioned by @weltersys be manipulated if Vrc is deliberately small and Fb is high?
The underdamped bass reflex output lags the horn by one cycle and rings on after, so transient response is not nearly as good as a FLH.
Thank you @weltersys, again point taken. Your expert insight is much appreciated.
It's clear to me now why my Hornresp example above is going to sound poor, however it could make for a decent 80Hz tuning fork!
I'm fascinated with old horn loaded systems, if you don't mind me asking, what were all the other drivers used in your 1979 stack?

The 1979 system had four JBL 2402 tweeters on top in that photo.
JBL 2410 on the round 2307 horns, JBL 2420 on 90 degree 2345 radial horns.
The photographer asked for extra pair of each in the photo for symmetry 🙂
JBL 2482 on 60 degree 2355 horns and 100 degree 2390 horn/lens.
The bass horn 15" drivers were EVM 15B Series 1.
Mill City Systems 4-way active crossovers (200Hz, 1200Hz, 5000Hz), Crest P-3500 power amplifiers.

Thought you might like to see the 1979 low mids in use during a scene from Prince's "Purple Rain" movie.Love that pic, thanks for sharing the details!
After Prince walks up the stairs, he humps the 1981 two-box system, which used the type of mid/high horn visible above the stage left 1979 low mid speaker.
Purple Rain was shot in 1983, I wanted our new, more compact (and slightly better sounding) system used, but the cinematographer preferred the look of the older stuff.
Oh well, we go to "see" a show 😉
