Has anyone ever tried to repair one of these panels? I'm thinking about doing a board-level repair on this panel.
I have an Ovation 920 that is showing the splash screen but refuses to recognize any sort of input (only tested s-video and video in due to lack of 13w3-hd15 cable). Reading other posts leads me to believe that the previous owner screwed with the power supply input and fried something.

Any advice on what to look for would be appreciated. I'll be sure to post anything I find out.

Ok, I got back tonight and took the projection panel apart as much as possible. Nothing on top of the circuit board looked blown or damaged so I took out the last screws and flipped it over. Underneath I found two surface-mount capacitors that had blown, C216 and C208. It should be a fairly simple repair with a soldering iron.
My next question is, does anyone know who makes these caps and where I can get some? They are yellow squares, kind of like the ones by where the LCD screen plugs into the pcb.
Any help would be appreciated.
