what is PCB? Also I took apart my BOSS Amp for my car. Is it realativly easy to replicate something rather good using the same concepts as this? and second question, there is a round looks like wood, but it's not, object with rather large coated copper wire wraped around it and it's soldered to the board. What is it? I post this here even though it's not a P3a amp, but just a car amp. I have so many questions if someone patient wouldnt mind telling me some of the details via AOLIM or email i would greatly appreciate it.

PCB printed circuit board, it is what all the stuff is soldered too. Most likely brown in color
i dont think it is, but then again i can only point out basic things like capacitors, resistors, transistors. I can point to what may be a jfet, or mosfet or transistor....sometimes... this is what i'm looking at. It's from a car amp. BOSS. It was big and purple. One of my friends let me have it after it went through a fire. It's never been used. I think it help up rather well, but as you can see by that one wire it's burnt rather well. I'm trying to see if i can restore it.... so far results are not looking good.
