I'm not sure it is the correct format but think it is Two's Compliment that is coming out of IC 302 (Pins 25, 26, 28 and 32) and IC 303 (after the Digi Filter) (Pins 15,19 and 20).
If this is the same format as i2S then these signals can be fed (maybe need buffering) to something like this..............
Digital Interface I2S to SPDIF BNC 75 Ohm for Amanero WM8805 V7 - Audiophonics
Lots of 'if's' but could be worth a go.
I can't find a Manual for the 1300 so not sure if it used the same chip-set.

The built in DAC in the 1200 looks a lovely design (PCM-54, proper Ladder DAC!).
