Here's my CNC machined faceplate. I learned that the original faceplate is made of anodized aluminum. All these years, I thought it was made of brass. The Fisher letters are larger because I couldn't create the toolpath in MasterCAM with a smaller tool, so I used a carbide tool normally used for cutting PCBs. I used Lacquer Stik Fill-In Paint for the engraved lettering. I'll hit it with some clear lacquer and am not going to plate it with gold anodizing. First silver colored KX-200 faceplate?
