That is how you (carefully) adjust the bias.
It is vital that the final setting is done with the amp at full temp and stabilised.
One pot will affect bias and the other offset, you must work slowly to balance them.

I adjust B5's on the fly all the time, never any problems.
At the same time I am member of FAB - You might want to shut the
amps off when you do it.

They are additive, but not exactly.
BTW, when we talk about changing frequency settings on the fly,
it's best to set switches on before setting others off. This avoids
the condition of "no value".

I've decided to use 4 pole Neutrik Speakon Connectors.
I always get nervous about shorting out my amps, the speakons eliminate that risk so I'm going to buy some today.
