Hi steppenwolf2,
you will need a chassis, as noted in the build guide and also a transformer.
You can order the chassis directly from modushop in italy:
Deluxe 4U ferro con frontale nero
(this one is with a black front panel, I don't find the one with silver panel at the moment..)
And a transformer, I would recomment "Sedlbauer", 2*18V, minimum 300VA:
Ringkerntrafo Transformator 300VA 230V 2x18V 36V Sedlbauer RSO-826052
If you have questions, I can answer also in german. But as official language here is english, I will only post in english.
Have fun,
Ulf

first you need to read appropriate threads, also to study all on this page : FIRST WATT
so you can figure out what is F6 made of

Hello Jo,
I would recommend to buy the JFets from DIYAudiostore.
The LinearSystems JFets (complementary) can be bought in matched set at an very good price. You need two pairs "SJ74 + 2SK170. I did buy them many times - very good quality!
And no Toshiba - fakes from China!.... on e..y
Or easier, you buy the complete F6 - parts- kit (169,00 $): with the Jensen transformers, PCBs, other parts
F6 Parts Kit – diyAudio Store
+ the complementary LinearSystems JFets ( Quartet / 2 Matched pairs) -
F6 Parts Kit – diyAudio Store
+ the PSU-boards
Universal Power Supply – diyAudio Store
I would also recomend the excellent Sedlbauer - transformers (I used them many times with extremely good resutls).
All other parts are easy to get in Germany from the big distributors.
Yes, and as mentioned above - a case for that 'baby'. I also like Modushop in Italy. But, whatever you want with some more aluminum/ heatsinks...
ClassA heats....
Don' forget. you order from the USA - so, the price in § changed to Euro,
+ Transport, then custom fees (Zollgebühr) + VAT (Mehrwertsteuer)!

I also second Dirk's suggestion of the parts kit and jfets from diyaudio store.
The parts are of high quality.
The F6 has an input transformer and you will want some physical distance between
that and the power transformer. So I would not recommend a small, cramped chassis.
You should also consider more caps than standard.

Agree with the above re length of chassis. The PCBs are (if memory serves) ~10"" long.
And you need to house a Transformer, spaced from the electronic bits for best result .
Note that an F6 generates V little heat (relatively so for an A amp) so a huge Fin array is functional overkill.
DIYaudio shop power supply PCBs, filled as per instructions are all you will need .
