I too picture this hazy dream vorldI am picturing a juke box with lots of blue led illumination and instead of 45's, loaded with a range of FE's and OS's.

Definitely a good avenue but I'm more oriented toward P2P "style." Based on how I want to handle the MOSFETs I'm planning on 16awg pins and or Radsert.Radsock for high power:How about amp modules on edge connector cards?
Here's the current version of the module base. It will house 8 FETs and handle up to four channels. 24 pins for IO not counting the FET pins. 48 pins in total. It's built into a water block to be used with standard CPU style pumps. So far this should handle ACA, F2, F5, F6 (two channel only) and M2. It all depends on whether the amp circuit will adapt to the "standard" module base. Hoping to make Exicons work here. At any rate, this solves the cooling problem of swappable circuits by employing a stationary bank of FETs with compete pinout freedom.
Interested to see how you adapt Exicon lateral FETs across amp designs…
F7 is the only FW amp to date with laterals, correct?

It's probably why it's so hard to find people using them? Worst case is sticking to the Vishays/Harris/Whatevers at a notably more affordable price; I'll consider the Exicons more an element of wishful thinking for now. Hopefully that list still stands with the regular flavor MOSFETS.
