First timer, help would be much appreciated!

Hi there,

First off I just want to say, sorry if I didn't post this in the right place. It looked okay to me as there wasn't any 'first timer' section. You may have to humour me a little as I really don't have much of a clue what so ever.

I'm building a speaker system as part of my engineering course, nothing extravagant but I would like the finished project to give out a fairly nice sound quality.

I've been looking at SB Acoustic speakers and tweeters (for no other reason than good reviews and good informative specification sheets). Here is what I've been looking at:

-SB15NRXC30-8
-SB29RDNC-C000-4
-SB12MNRX25-4

With the SB15NRXC30-8, would you need to add the tweeter? I've never heard of a mid woofer before so I'm not sure.

Also, I'm having trouble finding an amplifier chip that would be suitable, as I don't know what to look for.

I know it's a lot of information to ask for, but any help what so ever will be appreciated.

Got links to datasheets for those drivers? SB Acoustics are generally a good choice for the money.
