I'm using 250k feedback resistor. To calculate gain, you have to consider also 50k resistance of the pot (at max volume) in parallel wit 10 k resistor, which gives aprox. 8.33k. This makes also for 30dB of gain.
I tried 300k for feedback, and the vocals seemed to be more pleasing, but overall presentation was better with 250k. I choose it over 220k, as I like that extra bit of gain.
