LM3875.. with 25VAC transformer , say 200 to 300VA, only need to use 5 of its pins.. can cut the rest off.. with parts soldered point to point....

If you'd prefer a PCB take a look at www.chipamp.com. LM3886 is very similar to LM3875.

Nice Links man. I used Nuuk's site and took what I could get from the forum. I got mine up and running first try with no problems to speak of.
