I received a pop-up from AVG Anti-Virus that it successfully blocked a threat. Could it be the site has been hacked and a seed planted?

Any details on this?

just refreshing the page won't work, I've noticed that sometimes the warnings just pop up after I've been sitting here for a while at random.

It's probably going to take a while before it's all sorted, for as fast as the internet is sometimes, it's dog slow.

The problem seems to be resolved with cool novo ( basically using chrome engine).

Merry Christmas to all. I am running SeaMonkey. a subset of Firefox, on Windblows 7 with Trend Micro and have seen no warnings. Hopefully I won't see this but I know that Trend Micro does allow me to over-ride a site block if I deem it safe.

I've been accessing with Firefox, despite the Google warning. There is an "ignore this warning and proceed anyway" link on the warning page.
