Hi,
Just a quickie. I'm building a FireFly 0.5W tube guitar amp (2/12AX7, 1/12AU7). On the schematic posted on the AX84 site, it suggests using all 400V or higher caps. The power transformer I'm using is the Hammond 269EX (sec: 190-0-190). The circuit uses 3-47 uF filter caps. I have 3 nice 47 uF/350V caps..........driving 1 10"-8Ohm speaker. Any thoughts????
Thanks,
Curtis

You should be fine with the 350 WVDC parts. 190 VRMS is roughly 269 V. peak. Even if you SS rectify, there will be small losses and all vacuum rectifiers have a significant forward drop. Go for it.
