Mike - that's the A12PW - woofer version - big difference between the two in LF response attainable in reasonable sized /WAF friendly enclosures.
Thanks Chris. I didn't realize there were two versions of the A12. WAF hasn't been an issue for me. My wife indulges me in my speaker building hobby. Stereos were my hobby when we met way back in the '70s. While raising my kids, I put all things audio on hold. Now the kids are grown and have their own families, so my old hobbies are back. She's actually really great about it.
If I decide to go the A12PW and A7p, I'll certainly pay attention to the difference.

Nice to hear from someone from across the pond who isn't under the thumb 😉
Yeah, I've got speakers in just about every room in the house, plus multiple pairs in some rooms. I've got numerous vintage receivers, a few newer ones, and a few that I "built." If anyone in my family appreciated decent sound, I would certainly gift a few sets. Unfortunately, among my family and friends, I'm kind of a speaker-guy-island. Not a lot of love for it in my world.
Alas, I feed this addiction on my own.
You know the song, "I get by with a little help from my friends. Yeah, I get high with a little help from my friends?" That would only be cyber friends in my little corner of the world... 🙂
Same all over the world I think mate, few people really appreciate even just half decent sound. I have one friend locally who really loves music and the quality reproduction thereof and a woman who understands mine, so I consider myself lucky. She loves music but ain't too fussed about the quality, I can live with that....So the WAF thing is alien to me haha.
Prolly not going to happen They hold up a board holding up my TV so they don't get much light on them and they are behind a bar on the footboard of my bed.
If I swing them around to take pictures, for some reason, I'll post them.
I did take a picture of them finally.
I figured out the reason for finding the sound stage unsettling. It was because I had the left and right channels reversed. DOH. When I first set these up they were very close together, only an inch or two between them and voxel sub. So I didn't really notice the channels were reversed. Now they are spread further apart like in the picture and I have them slightly toed in and wired correctly. Much better now and still a plenty big soundstage.
Update after a week wth them: I love them couldn't be happier with them.

Gentlemen,
I have been lurking around the Lance topics and finally I made a pair of my own. So far the sound quality has been superb, based on my limited HI-FI experience.
I guess I have a general DIY question. Because I only have hand tools in the garage, the cuts were not perfectly straight so when I put all pieces together, there were gaps here and there. Some were as wide as 1mm. So I tried to fill the gaps by injecting extra wood glue and silicon sealant but there were still holes here and there after I put on the last panel.
My question is, are those gaps gonna affect the sound quality? In what way and how much?
