Hello
I am relative new to the tube scene and I just finished building my HK Citation II clone. I have decided to can the original power supply designs and start from scratch. The problem is I really have no experience in "designing" a power supply.
For the main Power Transformer I purchased a Hammond PT #717 510-0-510 rated for 500-700ma. I also have the usual assorted filter caps, choke, hexafred diodes, ect.
After a few scarey moments and almost blowing the power transformer. I need some help designing a Power Supply.
Thanks Guys

Go to Duncan Amps website and download his power supply designer program. It is free and does an excellent job.
Cool.
Did you build your Citation II according to the original plans, turret terminal strips etc., or did you do the layout yourself?
It is on the short list of amps I'm considering. I have a copy of the original assembly manual but I'm trying to decide if I would go that route or not. Since it is so well thought of I suppose I wouldn't go wrong doing it the HK way.
