That sounds like a big hint. 😉 It's one of the alignments I'm considering along with a backhorn, once I track down some tech data. BTW, they were so heavy Canada Post delivered one Friday and the second Tuesday.

I bet the mail carrier had them both in the delivery vehicle, hefted one onto your front porch, and then decided to take a long weekend breather before attempting the second. 🙂

By the way, I noticed something interesting when I was packing them. Reaching my fingers down over the lip of the rear magnet enclosure, I noticed that the top plate feels like it's about 15mm thick! It made me wonder if the motor on this model is actually underhung, which would be pretty cool indeed!

If you ever come across more info on these, I'd love to see it, no matter if it spikes my seller's remorse.

Re: D54af horns: They are custom-made from sectioned plywood with a cork lining and damping. They look reminiscent of Altec 811s. The gentleman I bought them from told me it was a 350Hz tractrix flare. They really sound nice! Sorry, but my wife is away with the camera, so I can't takes pics for a couple weeks.

Re: Blaupunkt PA275 Tripath amp: I'd take $70 for it. Grand rapids is maybe 1.5-2 hours north of me. I'm south of Benton Harbor and St. Joseph.

Re: MPC300, yes it is ex tent sale and fully modded for 120V operation. Other than brief testing, it is unused in its original box. I'd take $225 + $25 shipping for it.

Re: Tannoy CMS6 pair, yes, they have the tulip-throats and come with crossovers. You can read all about them
here. I'd take $175 + $20 shipping for the pair.

Sorry, but my dig. cam. is traveling with my wife.

All I can tell you is that the drivers are in excellent shape and fully functional. Nifty design--almost a modified dome with a large aperiodicaly damped pole vent. Extremely large magnet for their size. Do you have a set of ss-g7's or g9's?
