Finally saw an English CD880 service manual but...

It describes the drive as a CDM4. The CD880 was supposed to have a CDM1 MkII in it. The deconstructed picture of the drive shows the large rectangular plate that the MkII has, but the text calls out the CDM4. So now I'm not sure if the instructions pertain to the MkII or the CDM4. Can anyone clear this up?

Manual say it's CDM1-MKII...see image in zip file.

Ah! There it is. Weird. On the top of page 4-3 it say Laser Adjustment for CDM4.

It probably says that because the CDM-1 Mk2 (despite its misleading name) is a member of the CDM-4 family. A CDM-1 Mk2 has nothing to do with a CDM-1.
