Anyone know what is exactly the IC power opamp used in the highly regarded Final Lab Music-6 amp?
It is the "widespread" view that it is the LM1875..
And as it has five pins, that would seem to be the logical conclusion.
After read the Stereophile review, I suspect tha the IC it is not the LM1875. The measurements show a large crossover distortion spikes.
TDA2050?
TDA2050?

Sorry,
but I can not read the inscriptions on the chips (even making a zoom of the picture, printig it and using a loupe).
You could take in consideration that booth, the TDA2050 and the LM1875, have nearly identical packaging.
All the people that say the Final Lab is using the LM1875, that I have asked the question, can´t confirm the info.
The Stereophile measurements on the power amp made me suspect that the IC is not a LM1875. The THD at high frequencies is too high as well the crossover distortion.
