I need to create some reconstruction filters for a DAC.
Now I use a mix between THT and SMD components to be able to use high quality low noise components in the audio path but I want to make it using SMD components and I'm afraid that, at least the ceramic SMD capacitors will have higher noise and distortions.
Can you share from your experience with that kind of components and to recommend the right components?

Class 1 ceramic capacitors are pretty good (quite unlike class 2). There used to be many class 1 dielectrics in use, but nowadays it's all NP0 also known as C0G.
Thin film SMD resistors have relatively little 1/f noise.

Higher voltage NPO/C0G caps are more linear than the very low voltage ones. 50v or 100v is good enough.
There are also SMD film caps which some people prefer in some cases over NPO/C0G.

Also, Digikey has a great bargain if you want to try the film caps: https://www.digikey.com/en/products...AZU4BOASwB2AcxABfIgFoI0EKkiZchEuXBgAHAE5Wkg0A
Some of the caps in the kit cost several dollars each in small quantities, so very hard to beat the kit's value

I agree that the C0G ones are a good option, but keep in mind that there are also a wide selection of film capacitors available in SMT as well, of course, as mica.

Rubycon's acrylic are good (and not cheap), especially if you need low voltage (16-20v) capacitors in the "microfarad range".
But usually in DAC's LPF capacitor's values are lower and allowed to use NPO ceramic ones.

Agree but there are 14 values and ONLY 3 pieces from each value. Even to fill one single PCB there are not enought.Higher voltage NPO/C0G caps are more linear than the very low voltage ones. 50v or 100v is good enough.

And regarding the NPO/C0G usually are hard to find values grater than some hundred of pico.
Even up to 470nF, for the reasonable price:

Also exist 0.88, 0.94, but $20-35/each.

Some of those caps cost $10 or more each in small quantities, 3 of such caps could more than pay for cost of the kit. You could even order more than one kit if you want. If you need a lot of caps, then there are bulk pricing discounts.Agree but there are 14 values and ONLY 3 pieces from each value.
But what about WIMA SMD polyester? https://ro.mouser.com/c/passive-com...MA&product=SMD Film Capacitors&sort=pricing|1
Polyester tends to be higher nonlinearity type of film dielectric. Not something I would would like to put in the audio path.
However something like Wima FKP2 caps are very good, but they are through-hole.

Polyester is not good in signal circuits. Polypropylene is good, but size...
So, or acrylic, or ceramic, if it is possible.
I search and I find at my favorite store capacitors C0G/NPO with necessary values so I will go with ceramic C0G/NPO, probably 0806 or 0603.
If I chose to be soldered directly in China Plant, can I have trust that they will use C0G like I will request and not Y5N or other ceramic cheap capacitors? This is only a question because I will solder by hand.

If the plant is a reputable one such as JLCPCB or something like that, then they should use the parts you specify or fix it for free. If its some 'lower cost' manufacturer, then what I have been told is someone like you or your company representative needs to be there to supervise he production line, or sooner or later the manufacturer may try to save some money by using cheaper parts. IIRC that's what John Westlake indicated. Maybe some others too, don't recall exactly.
