Hi Borys,
I am in verifying layout process, so i compare mine to yours (attachement), and i find that you didn't implement R19 560R. Is R18 1k trimmer in serie with R3 2k2 sufficent to manage amp bias through Q5 BD139?

This morning i recieve capa. i order, but instead of 10x30mm for FC 470µ/50v i recieve 13x25mm so i had to modify layout and delete 1 of the 3 u per rail. I manage some little changes to (put the nearest i could these 470µ/50V to the output transistor collector and the 33pf to VAS transistor....)
I will certainly etch boards this weekend.

Marc,
I have 2sc3264/2sa1295 for output. Could they be used instead of 2sc2922/2sa1216?
I think so...

Nice boards!
Hardly wait to get some info how the amp perform and sound😀
Greetings G
Will be given, but at first i will get LC VSSA module get singing....This two modules (LC and Borys) will share same Trafo/Soft-start/DC speaker Protection/PSU, they only have their own heatsink (not definitive) one.

Nothing to do for closing eyes and sleep...so decided to go to basement and play with UV and chemicals....Next steps : covering tracks and drilling...
Very proffesional PCB layout, perfect for DIY work and to show blame fans that LTP is history.

I like that all heated transistors are on the main heatsink, that's how it should be.

There's a lot LC spirit in this job...

Some more progress...The last picture is the softstart/dc speaker protection coming from TSSA project just for test...

That is really impressive work.
For next 2 weeks I am away for holidays so I have restricted internet acces but I am looking forward to see the complete result.

... and this is how it looks VSSA BIGBT with four bipolar outputs per channel. Up and running. 😎

Hi Marc,
Very artistic! My wife even liked them!🙂
😎
@ LC, AWW! I'm looking forward to your report on the sound quality!

Yes I know you have them waiting for a proper occasion, VSSA's simple but very reliable front-end is most suitable to drive two BIGBT beasts per channel, tested today.
Sound signature is as close as can be to original VSSA, but cannot confirm completely since I listen them together, original VSSA on the left channel and VSSA BIGBT on the right channel.
Very soon I will make VSSA BIGBT version in official VSSA chassis with these nice metal BIGBT-s finally implemented inside.
