Brian at Madisound posted that he had a few FE166ES-R drivers available if you missed 'em when they first came round and were still wanting to try them out.

Good price too. Every time I see that monster magnet I get ideas. Perhaps it's time to flex the plastic before it's too late...
Hi,
I saw that post and went ahead and ordered a pair. Now there are three left. The salesman said Fostex will probably start a run of the FE206es model in October. I wish I had waited. Maybe I'll try to get a pair of the fe206es when they go on sale.

Ahhhhhh. I think I'll hang fire then. A 206ES-R. Oh yes. I do believe I can think of many, many uses for a driver like that. Lowther beware!
On a more positive note for yourself -don't regret your purchase; you've got a driver that will become known as a genuine classic in years to come. I don't known the T/S specs, but I'm sure there's lots of interesting things possible. With some BSC, a large TQWT would be very much on, for example (I'd chose that over a horn any day)
Cheers for the information, all the best & enjoy your new drivers!
