For starters that brand doesn't seem to be available where I live and secondly so I know nothing about them, when I google that all I get is a replacement diaphragm and the french dealer I found does not have a tweeter with that model number either.
Tuesday favorite tweeter is the Big Heil. I looked for a year and finally found a pair of ESS AMT1 for $80.
My favourite very cheap tweeter is still the old Peerless CT62 cone tweeter. Pity it is not produced anymore (have around 4-5 spares). There is another though but limited to use for the Carlsson/Sonab speakers, but it is not adapted for normal speakers.

The diaphragm plate is only press fit to the faceplate. Take a bread knife and slowly pry it apart.
The cheaper Morel's are a safe option. The dome material seems to give a sound signature loved by many, inc Jeff Bagby
I recently used the SB26STAC in a 2 way design and liked it a lot. Easy to use. Basically a fabric dome version of the SB26ADC. Runs about $40 on Madisound I think.
BTW, my favorite tweeters so far are the metal SEAS used in my NHT 3.3's which are not made anymore but I just scored a really nice set on eBay this week - 25TAF/D H856. My second favorite are the value selection in my first all metal Zaph Audio build Vifa DQ25SC16-04. That second tweeter delivers shockingly good acoustic jazz instrumentals and vocals such as Holly Coles don't smoke in bed. The Vifas are a little punishing with crappy rock recordings but the SEAS are smoother.

Hmm this is where it gets tricky. Perhaps you should have specified your favorite metal tweeter. I personally have never heard a metal tweeter that I liked (but there may be some out there that I would find ok).
No intention to start a metal vs soft dome debate, but it is an area that can have pretty extreme differences of opinion! I suspect that what I don't like about metal domes, is what others do like, and that what others don't like about soft domes doesn't bother me 🙂
I really like my Morel DMS37's (no longer available) The morel CAT328 is it's successor and should be as good or better. PE sell them for $69 so they are within the price range.

What are some other fabric tweeters that deliver good detail like a metal dome but without the harshness?

Sorry that should have been CAT378... I suspect that they won't have the detail of a metal dome, since they roll off a bit after 10K but they suit my taste, and sound very natural to me.

I find ceramic tweeters are a fine compromise between the textile and usual metal domes. They provide a better damped dome, with the detail of the metal types.

It's a shame TLabs is out. They had some wonderful units as well.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
It’s funny that you should bring this up because as I was cleaning up my eBay score yesterday and looking at that plastic structure wondering if there is a significant affect on the sonic behavior. Do you have any plots or listening impressions on the result of making that modification?
