I have a bunch of original TDA 7293 and TDA 7294.
All have ST (SGS Thompson) as brand stamped on them. I´m not aware that anyone else made these.

The Chinese medical electronics giant Sanxin, produces TDA7293. It costs $1.5, sounds superb.

The going rate in Baroda is about 160 Rupees for a genuine one, will be less in Delhi and Mumbai...$2.

Lol, 160 also in Kolkata Chandni, but every Shop has fake ic 🤣🤣🤣 also online is not reliable they also send fake , because ic comes from those shops 🤣🤣 funny but reality 😉
I have a cheap multimeter which can only measure the maximum of of 2 megaohms. I check the resistance and it was not showing reading.

I have also cheap meter under 1k themisto brand atleast buy this upto 20M ohm, not best but best in this price for casual work and testing purpose
Looks original as it resembles image with the image posted on RS. The price is ~ $12 in equivalent terms.
