Oh thanks for clearing this perceval, appreciate it, now I just got to find the plans lolNot really. The original was for 4" drivers. The updated one has a vent better suited to 3" drivers.
The TABAQ Large is for 5" and 6" drivers.
Finally, there's a folded version to be put on a desk.
I tried the folded version, but it misses some of the characteristics the straight line and positioning has.
Unless you absolutely need a folded version, I'd stay with the original plans, better suited for the 4".
could be nice to compare.
The TABAQ will reach 55Hz. Looks like the horn will get you down to 80-ish, but the TABAQ will be easiest build, for sure!

Mr Perceval , can you kindly tell me if these are the plans for the Tabaq plans for the 4" driver as i just read they modified it to b slightly largercould be nice to compare.

I have, of course, compared the straight and folded version with the same driver.
They are both very good. Mybe a small difference in the bass.
The opening in the straight version isxat floor level, helping the bass a litle. The folded version can be placed on some feets pointing the port downwards. Note that the driver can be placed at the center of the baffle if you want.

Hi percevel,
Just been reading the long thread on the tabaq, just to clear things up, the plan sent above is the original plan for 3" driver, but I can use my 4" driver just cut the hole to suit my 4" faital Pro, rest is all the same, except I can slightly mount the driver higher, is this correct

The original plans had the vent a little longer than expected, which worked well for 4” drivers, but was tuned a little too low from optimal with 3” drivers. The revised plans have the same enclosure dimensions, but the vent is a little shorter.
So, with the 4”, use the original plans.
the tower version, as Bjørn mentioned, will get help in the bass from surface boundaries, which a little 3 or 4” driver will be thankful for anyway!
