Beautiful craftmanship...the edge trim creates a piece of furniture instead of a speaker.

Our ancient bedroom furniture is American Walnut...very relaxing.

Some high efficiency speakers mix engineering with styling to solve problems of:
-edge diffraction
-flush mounting drivers
-physical time alignment
-reduced C-to-C TM-spacing
---600Hz crossover = 23" --> 5.5" quarter wavelength C-to-C spacing

Yep, they look more like speakers than furniture, so you have to decide if the improvements in sound quality is paramount to you....

Thanks Linesource

What is C to C?

Also, we're not set on 600Hz xover...my xover guy is very good at getting the optimum point, then building a great unit based on measurements and quality parts.

I said 600 as this was double the cutoff of the horn, plus the FP HF200 driver can handle it....but it could just as well be 1,000 or 1,200Hz....but then why use a big horn...?

Cheers
