This 15" is working well from 85 liter sealed, so 115 is fine, you need stuffing too and it can increase a little the volume, making Qtc lower so a little higher f3 but in a flat it should be more than enough...15" is a serious size in a flat. Yes the bafle step should change too, but you can eq with the minidsp. You can try a xo from 200 hz...perhaps 400 hz will no force you to sacrifice too much spl loss with 8" cause the bafle step loss. The high pass should be more tricky...1500 to 2000 hz cause a 8" is beaming sooner than say a 5" mid. If the sound is tireing, makes it dive from circa 1500 hz to 15 k hz...5db or more according the room.
Perhaps another solution, a faital 15pr400 (sealed) with the Seas C18en002 coax ... because there are already DSP presets for hypex fusion .. and there will only be slight modifications to be made
....or take advantage of the Faital 15" to XO at 600 hz with a good Audax pm1700 (smooth highs) or its aerogel brother...600 hz to 2000 hz max then a tweeter.
