Hello Store:
When do you anticipate the F6 PCB and transformer kits will once again be available?

Transformers are the issue. No ETA but we are aware of the issue, and a plot has been hatched to get these available again.

Nihon,
If you look at the schematic carefully you’ll notice Mr. Pass has sprinkled TL431 regulator transistors (Q5,Q6) which are controlled by two resistors to provide the gate voltage to turn on (via pots P1, P2) the output stage vertical MOSFETS. This is a different method compared to zeners and the green led diode method discussed in the original F6 threads. The cool thing about this is that perhaps one can easily change the opening gate voltage if one switches from Vertical Mosfets to power JFETS for example (just change the two resistors that control the TL431), twiddle the pots or both?
P3 is also included which allows the user to play with the 2nd harmonic.
Much of this has been thoroughly described by Nelson in his original F6 article he wrote over 10 years ago. Required reading imho.
Question is, can we also play with lateral fets if one is careful about correct pin assignments to the gate, drain and source?
Really appreciate Nelson’s continued enthusiasm for the F6
Best,
Anand.
