Hi Buzzforb. I'm on the spreadsheet for two premium V3 kits w/ cap upgrades as each kit seems to satisfy two channels and I am planning four. Thanks for your effort! This is such a hassle-saver. I would do this even if it didn't save money.
Just signed up for a complete V3 (fets and premium parts kit). This is my first attempt on a power amp, so I will try to make it according to the pdf.
Just a small note. It might be a good idea to include some additional spare parts in the kits to care for accidents... Buying the exact amount of parts you need is never a clever idea

Hi Buzzforb.
I am new to this and am a bit unsure of what my rail voltages should be. I have tried to absorb what I read and think 45V will get me to my target 100w/channel mark so I chose the upgrade cap option. Am I on track? Thanks for asking 🙂

If my calculations are correct, a 32V rail V3, will get you what you are after and a little more.
someone suggested adding mur860 diodes to the list for line level stuff. If there is interest, we can work it out. I have heard that MSr860 is a better sounding product, but who knows. I am doing this once, might as well have at it.
I am using MUR860 on the PSU of my phono and preamp and the sound is amazing. Completely different use, but in any case, a sweet sounding diode

I am definitely interested. Count me in for two premium V3 sets (four channels). However, I will likely build monoblocks, so I think I'll need two additional sets of parts for the power supplies (i.e., four V3 board sets plus four power supply board sets).
Regards,
Scott

Any idea what you could get the PRP resistors for in quantity? They are really quite nice. (and look fantastic!)

I respectfully reserve the right to not having a clue to what I have signed up for , hopefully no animals nor fets were harmed while Making these decisions...

Is there a 'Build your own F5T for dummies ?' LOL
Most likely looking at the premium V3 two channel kit + FQAs (how many do I need ?) + whats the deal with the MURs ??
Are there any PCBs for this anywhere ??
