Per Anders designed it and organised a one-time groupy gang bang, so me bought a number.
Using 4 of these on the V3 (stinkin diode thing good for balanced only, imio)
Just an example piccy for No Toe UK.

Power Supply Boards
It never ends, more caps, larger caps, more money!
How much is enough?
I was looking at 16 each 22,000 uF at 30mm = 352,000 uF.
Is that enough for an 8 amp supply? Smaller caps makes it easier to make the next price break (25 pieces).

Nick,
I could do, but it might be better on a small separate board as I don't imagine many would want to do it that way.
Something like this......
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Hey Andy
Yup, that'd probably be better I guess
cheers
Nick
If you're taking names and numbers, put me down for 2 amp boards and 1 psu board pls as I'll probably build a V2 🙂
cheers

I am interested, and would like boards both power supply and amp, enough for 2 amplifiers when ever the "taking names and numbers" part comes along. This is excellent work here!

Andy,
I like the board, great work, but I am struggling to understand the actual pcb dimensions.
I am only interested in V2 which can fit on my 9inch (228mm) long heatsinks (I am using fans).
You mentioned going two sided on the output tracks. Does that mean that there are no scoring lines on the back to break the boards if only two pairs used? Can you give me the OAL length I would end up with if the boards were cut right in the middle between the second and third pair?
>> Provided the dims worked out for me I'd be too interested in two boards.
Cheers,
K.

Andy:
Stellar work. Your receptivity is terrific; this community never ceases to amaze me.
Please add me to the growing list: four F5 Turbo V3 boards and four power supply boards.
Many, many thanks,
Scott

Andy,

Koja
Between the second and third MOSFETs is exactly 83mm from the centreline giving an overall length of 166mm if the board was severed at that point on both sides (so just short of 7").

Who's up for a black solder mask??

Black or Blue, not red though.
