But leaves class A at 2.6 x2.6 x 2 = 13.5 watts peak
= 6.75 watts rms
Which is not a problem for bass.

See how it works out, and then take it from there
Fore balanced F5 monos you will need 2x F5 stereo anyway
In which case I think I would prefer 2x stereo F5, through a digtal XO/EQ
Or maybe F5 fore the top, and a monster classD fore your double Alpha15 woofers, through a digtal dsp
I wont advertise the new Hypex dsp 2way plateamp here, but it would be a much cheaper option fore your woofers, with lots of options
May not belong here, but its the best way I know how to answer your question

The eminence are high efficiency woofers so that amounts of power aren't needed in a home environnement.

I go on the variant:
Supravox 65 - directly to F5;
2xEminence Alpha 15 : DCX2946 - vertical biamping F5.
If not to like, to go on an Eminence Alpha 15 with Aleph5 mono block, which has 90 watts per 4 ohm.

I plan to go the dsp route with GroundSound, and get on the train, so to speak
But I will not waste huge amounts of classA power on 15-18" woofers
I guess I will have about 500watt fore those, to deal with EQ

I have 66 ohms between each rail and output terminal. The output transistors are off the board and not wired in. The only reason for this reading would be if the input FETs were acting as a dead short (so the path is basically through the feedback resistors)
Is this normal? I would not want to fire it up and set my house on fire... I have not yet powered it up - power supplies are done and ready to go...
