Those boards knock me out!

First they will bolt on to directly replace my Peter Daniel F4 boards so I could try them right away!!

Second, the large boards and the extremely logical layout emphasizes how simple the circuit really is!

As to the output cap, I used Jensen 10,000/63 originally, and it sounded fine; especially with added V-Cap bypass. Getting rid of the output cap is IMHO the best mod to F3 and I made my remarks here: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=1722410#post1722410

I've done some distortion analysys on several output caps with a R&S UPV. For me there's a new star born; the PEH200 series of Evox Rifa. This one has extremely high current ratings, very low ESR (originally designed for HF welding equipment). These will stay in my F3 (for now at least 🙂 ) Just check out the datasheet...

I had no problems as others did. Mine was a satisfactory transaction. I hope the same for all.

What Are the proper sil-pads for IRFP240/IRFP9240 TO-247 ? Do you use special cuts for TO-247 or bulks materials? is enough mica film?

For thankfull Fet-junctions use the standard mica TO247 with silicon grease. This still has the lowest Rth...🙂

I have received everything I ever ordered from AudioTek. One shipment was very late due to surface mail during the holidays.

OT on this thread...

If you search for Audiotek, you will find MANY stories, some good , a lot bad.
They were scam artists or very inept dealers. Their account and associated accounts were not stolen but closed down by Ebay after complaints.

Don't wait.
Claim through Paypal immediately.
