Nope. I've built several Marchand kits over the years. I also build loudspeakers using Madisound components. I'm a life long audio person & psuedo retired from commercial cinema.

Generally all the 25wpc Firstwatt amps cost the same to build, roughly $7-800. Chassis and PSU is your biggest expenses, and those are all the same in the various amps.

no chassis. speaker choice 4ohm or higher. I have dozens of speakers in the shop. all kinds of home build speaks. 1st place winner in 2015 Parts Express audio fest winner too.
