I bought these for a project but ended up going a different direction. The speakers work perfectly but unfortunately I have no use for them. They have been through the enabled process and sound much better for it.

$250 SHIPPED in the CONUS

If international, PM me for details

Mcgilvrey007,

I paid for the woofers in mid april by papal requesting for insurance and tracking. You've not provided any evidence of this being paid.

I still have not received the woofers and without providing me with a tracking number, i cannot even start to investigate where they are.

Were they shipped at all?

Furthermore by requesting for payment as a gift, i cannot start a claim against you in Paypal.

I'd just post our pm conversation here for all to see, hoping to get some sort of response from you on this.

Wow, that sucks. Sorry, Chris. I haven't been burned in a while.
If the seller asked you to do the gift payment and has lost the reciept and record of tracking, I believe wholeheartedly that you should receive a full refund. I hope he feels the same way. Of course, I really hope they just show up on your doorstep! :)

At first I thought this was a scam, but it seems very odd that he would even bother continuing a conversation with you after taking payment, if it was a scam that normally wouldn't happen.

Add to that that I couldn't find pictures of these anywhere online... my gut instinct would be that this is a genuine deal-gone-bad, not a scam.

Hopefully he can get back to his old address and see what happened? or maybe USPS can track it by his address?

Good luck to you both

@ fishball79 - For the sake of security NEVER send payment as gift. Once you do you have no right to claim the money back. You took the bait as the seller said he would avoid the fee, but paypal provides the option for you to pay those 3.4% or so and the seller would get his full amount of 250$. Again, never ever send money to strangers as a gift. Hope everything goes well, and u get your woofers or refund. Fingers crossed.

This is great advice, I wish more people did this and I wish more sellers did not instruct buyers to send as a gift.

Best of luck, hopefully they turn up somewhere in good condition. I just had a pair of drivers stuck in customs for 3 weeks arrive earlier this week, it was agonizing! I also had four tweeters go to an old address because the seller shipped to the address on file instead of the one in my paypal invoice...luckily mail forwarding caught it but still, gave me a heart attack when it happened. Hopefully the seller can provide a tracking number so that you can investigate their whereabouts.
