Well, I shipped out all the international orders this morning. I would expect US packages will arrive in the next couple of days, and intl packages will arrive sometime by the end of next week. That seems to be the usual time course. Good luck to everyone with the project. I ended up shipping almost 100 boards combined between the ezDAC and ezDual. I hope to see some pictures of your builds and impressions of the music that you hear coming out of the ezDAC. Of course, we'll keep this thread going, if interest builds for a third group buy.

Spare Parts

Anyone in the UK looking for parts for this project see the list below. All components are brand new and have not been soldered. The AD1896AYRSZ and PCM1794DB's are still sealed in the suppliers packaging. The prices are as advertised by the supplier but we can negotiate. I'll accept £60 for the lot. Some of the components may not be required but I wasn't going to go through the BOM's again.

Got my boards today 😎

Still looking for those parts :
- U7 : 24.576mhz Dil 3.3V RC
- T1 : 1:1 76601/2 pulse transformer or MURATA - 76601/3C

For C28/29 - 47µF Tantale - will a 16V one fit ?

I've got parts to change : 1 x SRC4192 + 1 x PCM1794

Where did you get the rest of your parts?

I'm still filling in a BOM for digikey.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience "baking" smt components.

My brother bought a toaster over solely for this purpose. His first bake was a bit overdone, but it seemed to do the trick.

Is it possible to use the toaster oven on the smt components and then solder in the rest of the thru whole components?

You really dont need to bake them, I have a WP35 Weller soldering iron (standard pen type) and I just did them by hand, its was my first time ever soldering chips on a board (actually first time solering anything on pcb) its pretty easy just need patience..and some flux 🙂
