Extreme DAC 1543 kit from Hifidiy.net

My new extreme tda1534 DAC kit just arrived. Will hopefully get to assemble it in a week or. Just wanted to say that these guys were (So far) great to deal with. they were extremely fast to respond to emails and the items were shipped and arrived ahead of the delivery schedule they gave me. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

UPDATE:

The kit was missing a few parts. Email communication was prompt and the parts are on the way. These guys are really easy to deal with and very responsive.

Just for your info: in my kit some of the parts were changed to other usable (better) values.

Have you seen the list of different tweaks that people has done?

I've seen some of the tweaks. I'm building it prettty much stock and will upgrade it later. I've moved the clock selection switch off-board and upgraded to 8x tda1543, but that is it until it is tested.

Here's the extreme tda1543 with optical to coax converter and r-core transformer breadboarded up for a test. It's going into a line preamp I'm building....

Came from a piece of crap D-Link di-624 router. It is temporary. As soon as I design the rest of the preamp I'll be building a wood/aluminum case to match my 832 amp.

got it working with a coaxial digital input last night. Played some zeppelin through it and compared to the DAC in my USB sound device this sounds much better. the highs tend to stand out with this DAC. Well worth the investment.

hello, i just finished building this TDA1543
there was some missing component though but now its already singing
its actually preety good kit for the price..
also the kit come with fairly good components eg dale, muse, nichiconFG etc..

I have to versions of the TDA1543 and TDA1543A bought in china with no logo of philips
if i change the TDA with the original one i only hear distortion and light sound
i assume that the one from china are fake...

can any one help me out
