Extending the cable. I've done it!

here is another thought but i think it has a high fail rate, u could make a small board and solder the ide wires to that, then at that end of the board draw the track that needs to be lined up with the pins in the socket with liquid silver pen, i think this might work in some cases but it depends if the cable needs the contact both sides or not and if u can get circut board that thin, also if u put it on somthing flexible it might not make a proper contact with the silver paint parting at a bend

I'm Back!!!

Well there are many ways to extend the cables and another possible way is to find some sort of very thin conductive material or spray and paste it on a hard surface and etch away the material to the right size. Maybe this is the easiest way since you only need to be accurate at the connection points. maybe you could even use solder wire and melt it to a thin layer and etch out the design and then use the solder iron to quickly paste it on the cable. I might work..... OR NOT..🙂
