Anybody knows what Opamp sits in this phono board ? I've got the board years ago ,burned out Opamps
unsoldered them put the board on the shelf and now I forgot what the heck was there I think it was NE XXX but can;t swear on it? Anybody got info or even schematic?

Probably 5532 (single) or 5534 (dual). Trace the circuit to see. Otherwise, power it up without opamps and check on which pins you find the PSU + and - voltage, this will tell you dual or single as the pin outs differ.

when top view: 5532 is the dual version(pin 8 =v+,pin7=output).5534 is single(pin 7 =v+,pin6=out).

Its a single NE5534AN per channel (for MM version) .The Board looks very simple .Opamp is coupled with 0.33uF to output. I'm not sure Opamp change would bring any improvement .I'm going to build some decent PSU and make it stand alone unit.

Ypu may be surprised though one must be careful in what op amp to select. If the whole stage is one op amp per channnel it will need to be unity gain stable for eg.
I quite like LT1468 in phono for eg. A more dynamic sound then NE but not as dry a sound as the AD chips for eg. Not lush like BB.
