Is wireless power the answer to reducing noise in audiophile equipment?
I'm no expert in this field but these are my work in progress notes on providing a clean power source for the 'clean' power side of a Raspberry Pi4 and Digi One Signature HAT addon board.
Notes in the second section on this page
So far the results look promising, providing my use of a cheap scope is showing the results correctly! 🙂

I am getting FF telling me the link to the transmitter on Pi,s website is "not allowed " / safety concern .
I can get the website and the RAS PI Streamer webpage but not the link to details on the transmitter.
So I went to a manufacturers webpage who tell me that --no- wireless power transfer is noisy , I had a look around for a simple electronic circuit that gives you an idea --although if required I can post a pretty technical explanation but its better to keep it simple ----

Not had any issues with any links using Chrome/FF with McAfee security here.
Thanks for the article link, looks like there is still work to get from cleaner to clean power transfer.

This solution proposes a high isolation from mains. But all the power transmitted is pure radio frequency power that has to be filtered as well. And at the end the sending coil and the receiving coil are basically the same as the primary winding and the secondary winding of a smps transformer. With bigger isolation between primary and secondary the magnetic stray field increases poisoning your environment. Think of it!😉

I'd favor a battery with capacity to sustain your typical listening session. When you shutdown, it then connects to the mains to recharge and be ready for the next session.
IMHO, too many EM / RF fields floating about in the environment already these days. BT, wireless G/N networking is one thing Power transfer is something on a far different scale.
Personally, I am shocked at what people are entirely willing to expose themselves to, for the sake of convenience; i.e., too lazy to plug in a cord. Commercial entities keep pushing, pushing, pushing such technology upon us... Imagining a future where EMI/RFI is like plastic - no matter you go, it's there in some form.

I am with you there Jjasniew that's why I have 2 PC,s I have no intention of buying a laptop and yes a cable plugged into the modem, all down to convenience and then they all complain when their online speed drops like a stone due to interference or thick walls .
Heard it all , all the complaints on my previous website --still complaining .
Lithium batteries in laptops and the heavily advertised "electric cars " and the same people turn to their neighbor and say -" I am more ECO than you " -- I turn back and say "do you know how lithium is obtained and the enormous pollution to do so as well as the exploitation that goes with it for those mining the stuff" ?
Now this is having an effect and solid state batteries are the future .
