Experience with Auralic mini?

Hello,

Just received my Auralic Aries mini, and have some issues.

I inserted a 500MB hard drive but the system doesn't recognise it. Has anybody had success with the internal harddrive; what type did you use?

I also downloaded the Android version of the software Lightning DS but it doesn't run and freezes my Samsung S. The software runs fine on the iPad mini though.

What gives?
