Many months ago at work I went to do a service call and a lady wanted me to "surplus" (a.k.a. = throw away) some equipment she had in her office. I grabbed alot of items and junked most of them except for one slide projector machine I thought would be neat to play with. I turned it on and everything seemed to work..just needed a new bulb. well several months went by and i never messed with it again..then one day I had the brillian idea that I could use some of the lenses in there to better my projection project I'm working at..so I tear into it and pull the lenses out..probably breaking some things as I went...
once i pulled the lenses out i thought how funny it would be if this thing was actually worth money..I went and looked up the item..a Kodak Ektagraphic 570AF and to my horror I discovered that it is still being sold for $800 dollars!

I wouldnt say that was an expensive mistake... because you didnt pay for it to begin with.

well where is it being sold for 800 Bucks still? if its a site on the net just cause there is a price dosent man anyone is buying it for that price.
Maybe on an expensive A/V website, but after a quick check on eBay projectors in that series seem to go for $300 tops, usually closer to $150 or less.
Thats true... just throw it up on ebay with the model #, specs.... dont say or even hint that it's in working order and slap "sold as is" somewhere in there and I bet you get that $150 for it.
