Could the double die version be run in class A or AB with Ostripper's Green amp like power supply and be low in distortion?
To me, the laterals sound best if I drive them with a tube.
In my hybrid amp, I use the Russian 6S4P triode to drive two pairs of 2SK1058 / 2SJ162. The amp. has no negative feedback.

I also notice the datasheets for the 2SK1530/2SJ201 don't give the Vgs tempco or a graph for Vgs/temp at all, and have Id/Vds and Id/Vgs graphs that disagree.
