Hi. I'm starting collecting funds for the Exicon GB. You put your name for some Pairs of each P&N. It will be surprising that we reach over 100 pieces, hence the price will be for 25+, or 8.50U$ each.

I sent you by private email your total. You can pay using PayPal + 3% fee (or use 'Send money to friend option')

Let me know when you'll make the payment at my email: bergeron.syl@videotron.qc.ca

I'll also need your private email to reach you, and your postal address.
Thanks

If I take 4 or 6 pairs, how much will shipping to India cost?

Someone already brought up the question as to why Exicons are preferred to Alfets? Any reasons? I thought Anthony Holton reported the latter to be very reliable and sound better too.

Hi. i cannot know how it will cost to ship to india before I put a package together and get a quote. But that being said, usually international shipping from Canada, small air parcel is around 25-30$CAN.

I'm about to place the order, and after that I won't accept other order, the price remains the same up to 100 parts, so let me know if you're interested.

I want the Exicon for Goldmund clone amp, never had a chance to listen to the other fets. Just guessing that if a major manufacturer uses them, they may have made their choice based on listening session. That's all. GB about to go ahead, sorry no change at this point.

Thanks for understanding and let me know. I'll wait until tomorrow.

And I may ask that the Exicon are specially specified for reduced spread in characteristic for easy matching in small quantity, a very desirable option for us buying small quantity. And finally they are specs for high power, and higher voltage than comparable size Mosfet, also a desirable specs for high power amps.

Thanks for understanding and let me know. I'll wait until tomorrow.

Order placed, payment made. Shipping was 30U$ to me in Canada.

To let you know guys I just found that they offer a new part number, with the -S suffix, for 'Selected', meaning they should be much better to get a good match 😉 Price was just slightly over at $8.67 instead of $7.85 each. I decided to buy these instead. I'll absorb the price difference if you don't agree with me, but I think that in any amp application, easy and better matching is great to have. Let me know, no pressure. We still have to split shipping charge to me, and I'll have to charge shipping back to you.

Link to the '-S' part: http://www.profusionplc.com/parts/ecw20p20-s

Take note that even if the GB total was 55, I ordered only 50, standard tube size was 25 parts. I just need 2x6 matched pairs (total 12 each, but I ordered 25 for me...), so I can easily complete the missing 5 each.

For those interested in matching service, it may be very easy, and won't probably cost you more than the extra part price, if their '-S' selected option is so good. We will see. Thank you all for participating in this GB. Stay tuned for what's next. 😛
