I'm having a real problem trying to get Excel to draw a chart using the data in one column for the x axis and the data in another column for the y axis. I want the x axis to be logarithmic.
Anyone know how to accomplish this?

From memory:
Select the data
make a "scatter" graph <---most important point
doubleclick on the graph
right click on the X axis
change the limits and select logarithmic
You are done.

You can connect the dots with lines and even nix the data points if that's what you want.
activate the graph, select the data points (click on one and get them to highlight)
right click and select "format data" or something like that
change colors, data point types and lines, lineweights, etc...
