sold out bundle : https://essspeakers.store/collectio...air-of-great-ess-heil-amt-mounting-kit-bundle was 121 euros unit !
The selfs at the back of the pcb are the low pass filter. I went on the link, and you can see it is very simple : first slope 0.5 bass with 4 mH and I mH I assume as no capacitors bipolars are provided but the pcb for the AMT.
Maybe the 1 mH is the low pass of the upper Satori for the AMT or a part of a second order high pass as you seem to say?! ... but I see only 2 coils in the kit link TNT provided. Looks like rather simple kit, nothing really fancy. And definitly ceramic and non wirewound resistor on the pcbs looks like the bad passive parts to acheive this in a loudspeaker, cheaper, bigger margin...
ScottG USA member provided not long ago a link to ESS sells, I confirm it was twice cheaper there !
That is a good analysis. The Crossover diagram is not complicated at all.
On the other hand, simplicity does not necessarily rhyme with mediocrity...
I have a lot of amps, speakers etc... and these are very good. I always say that you have to listen to get an idea...
biyAudio 😉
What made you choose this particular kit?
//
How bored I was.. I had the choice between making this kit or watching Sweden get eliminated during the 2022 World Cup play-offs) ))))))))
A little humor =)
Tell it as it is - you got it for free to do some guerrilla advertisement... 🙂

Obviously, I'm known to be a diy dealer... Besides, I remember when I presented a DIY Buffer for Purifi amps you came to accuse me of selling modules in the site.... I didn't appreciate it at all! It's slanderous and very accusatory even
You want me to send you the bill for the project maybe, it might help you be a little nicer...
Well, you cant blame me... most of your threads looks like consumer information rather than a description your DIY adventure. Thats just how I experience your contributions - sorry... good luck with the build!

Why is the tweeter so far from the midbass? They should be as close as possible.
A pretty loudspeaker.

have to ask the manufacturer )
Patents are public information. If it's not public, it's not a patent, it's just a trade secret. So is this a patent or a secret?

Thanks.
It's an assumed choice because I have a pair of Satori MW19P-8 (19 cm) that I want to ride eventually. I designed the enclosure with a shelving adjustment system that allows me to review the load volume.

Translation come out strange - I don't think this is your message... or it's not easy to understand what this means. "assumed", "shelving", "load volume"?
You need to use very simple sentences and words to make it work.

I think he did not undrtstood what Pano said about vertical lobbing.
The design seems pretty simple because not acurate.
They tried the first slope hopping a big overlapp will make the thing easier. the transcient better to hide other defaults. We almost can be worried if the Heill AMT I is first slope high passed at 1700 hz despite being low Fs ...which doesn't mean there is not thd due to the low hard break-ups With that slope.
So imo daniboom not only advert the name of the cabinet workshop by showing a logo near the binding posts and also the kit seller but he is perhaps trying by a hazardeous method to make this design being benchmarked and corrected here. Cause I do not think an educated reader here could be customer...but nothing wrong as Oano and xrk971 do the same ...but at least with finished product. Just... I do not want to be took as a fool more than I am. It disearves to tell the truth and not pass behind by the port imho.

First I apologize for not speaking English fluently.. The "Atelier des Apotres" is one of my friend where I live here.
I asked him to sign and engrave his work near the banana plugs. I drew the 3D plans before the realization.
Either I'm very bad at English or I misinterpret what I'm being told? But these are my personal speakers and I'm not trying to sell them) I love them too much )))
If you draw the cabinet there is still some diy...
Well my english is very low as well...the verity is in the pudding... the cheesburger... the cassoulet ... your own taste.
