Hi All,
I'm new here. I just recently came across two pair of AMT 1c's (4 total) that I'm in the proccess of restoring. I just painted the tops and currently sanding the bottoms for staining. All the drivers and crossovers are fine. The PR's will need refoaming. Looks like the drivers were refoamed and caped at one point. I was wondering about the spec's for these speakers.
1. RMS/Peak Wattage
2. crossover points
I heard that upgrading the caps in the xovers make a difference. Anybody have experience with that? Cap values and such?
When I'm done with them, I may try to get rid of them, or I might keep them. Not sure at this point.
Oh yeah, I need a few ESS tags too if you know were to find them.
Thanks!😎

ESS
Maybe try Sacramento CA Craigslist for parts. ESS was in the Sacramento area in various incarnations for decades.
Just before each incarnation folded or changed ownership there seemed to be a tradition of small parts flying out the back door of the manufacturing facility.
Somebody in the area likely has dusty ESS badges stuck up on their garage wall next to the jar of rusty nails.
