Just wondering if anyone has had any experience building this amp. I've been researching a few different amplifiers in the 200-300 watt range. So far it's between the Slone Opti-mos Version 4 and the Elliot 101. They seem pretty similar when it comes to transformers and filter caps as they both use Hitachi's L-MOSFETS. Also Rod's version seems to be a more simple design both in contruction and function. The biggest difference is the price per PCB, Rods comming in cheaper than the Opti-mos.
