Well, in my opinion, only using the 2sa1516/2sc2922 combination, it will not work properly.
You can do this:
- change the MJE2955/3055 to MJE15031/15030
- Insert at the end the 2sa1516/2sc2922 pair
- raise the PSU current to at least 8 Amp

If you have 4 pairs of 2sa1516/2sc2922 , just do THIS
